  • All New Releases are available for a minimum 2 Day Loan (i.e. an item is due back before the close of business 2 days after you borrowed it, regardless of the time of day you took it out = take out Friday due back on Sunday). New releases may be borrowed up to a maximum of 7 days for $1 per extra day required (maximum cost is $12.70 for 7 days)
  • Extensions of rentals can be made by contacting us before an item is due back, and can only be extended as described above for new releases or by the week for older titles. Weekly extensions are only allowed at the discretion of the management.

  • Then if they are 3 to 7 days late it is $1 plus the weekly hire fee again.

  • If they are 15 or more days late they incur a $30 replacement fee and the late fee.
  • A replacement fee may also be charged for any lost, damaged or unreturned items.
  • Faulty items: Please ensure that your DVD player and monitor are actually able to play the DVD region and format of any items borrowed before reporting something as faulty.
  • Please assist us to maintain the quality of our library by treating all items with care whilst in your possession. Most DVD problems are the result of mishandling, so please help us keep our DVDs in good order. Keep videos & DVDs in the storage cases provided, away from dust, dirt and moisture, and protect them from extremes of hot and cold temperatures (e.g. don’t leave them sitting in a hot car, etc.)
  • Only handle DVDs by their centre rims and edges to avoid surface marks and scratches on the playing surface, if it is necessary to clean a DVD please first ask us for advice on the appropriate method and only play discs/ tapes once they are at room temperature. Please rewind any videotapes before returning them to us.
